This guitar definitely punches UP.
This guitar as every bit as good as any $1000 & up guitar, as far as fit and finish. The bridge is better than a fender...no pot metal, no press marks, thick heavy steel and shiny chrome. My original plan was to change the neck, but no need. It is just about perfect. All the fret ends are rounded and polished, no sprout or buzz anywhere. edge of fret board is sanded perfectly, finish has a beautiful tint to it. It is actually very close to my Les Paul slim taper neck. Very thin all the way down the neck...a profile which I love. I changed the tuners to Gotoh vintage style, the originals were just "OK". Neck pickup has a nice traditional Tele sound, but the bridge pickup sounds pretty thin. No "Oomph" I will be switching the pickups out to La Breas, as well as the control panel pots to fender. Guitar has a great weight to it. Feels very solid. Very good guitar stock, but I want mine to go to 11. Beautiful guitar, highly recommend for any level player. You will not be disappointed.
