This 5 TB external hard drive works perfectly. I have windows 10 professional, and I used the Bitlocker function to encrypt this drive, and it worked flawlessly. It gets a bit warm with prolonged use, but nothing worrisome. I am happy with this as my backup drive. As far as speed, it handles playing videos on my low end laptop very well, with no lag.
