The carbon filter is glued onto it
This is meant to replace the HEPA filter, not the carbon filter. Normally the carbon filter is removable so it can be washed separately and lasts longer. With this HEPA filter having the other one glued to it you can't wash it, meaning you have to pay to replace it. This also means the normal once-weekly washing of the carbon filter can't take place. It stays on for the life of the HEPA filter meaning you have to buy a new one or watch it get clogged after a couple of weeks.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
