Great little router !!
Got myself this unit as an entry level router and boy, there ain't nothing shabby about this little machine. It feels right on your hand, has variable electronic speed control (there is an embedded potentiometer where you dial the speed). I paired this router with a set of these bits (item 311162029628) and was chomping wood in no time. The "electric filter" was loose on the power cord so I decided to remove as there was no way to properly fix in place however, when I cut it open, it turned out to be just the anti-theft thing. No problems there. The price is right too. Hopefully it will last (it does feel it will) so, I won't have to worry with the "full warranty". Recommened ? Yes !!!

GREAT Compact Router
Makita makes great products to begin with. The compact router is an exceptional value too. It is the second one for me. I gave my first one to my grandson who is a great woodworker. The quality of Makita is in this router itself. Light weight and powerful for its size. The seller got it here in great time. I would buy from him again.

This is my second one.
These small routers have become indispensable for certain jobs. I really like the thought that goes into the Makita tools. I’ve used other brands that have more power and accessories but they are more fussy to setup and harder to handle. The Makita just seems better at the end of the job.

Excellent router
Purchased this for a backup, as I use it in my Onefinity CNC machine. The only bad thing I can report is that the speed dial does not stay on the same setting (known issue in the community). You have to tape it down.
