seems like good quality for this price point
The welds on it look pretty ok, not the cleanest but they look good enough to get the job done. the OEM heat shields will not be able to be transferred over to this one, I didnt really expect them to be able to so no shock there. I'll likely end up getting some header wrap for it to keep heat off of the oil filter. Installation was simple enough, the nuts that it came with for bolting it to the heads were the wrong size so i just re-used the ones that were on there before, the nuts that connect it to the rest of the exhaust were the right size. The gaskets it came with seem to be the cheapest ones possible but again that's to be expected at this price point and honestly at this price point i don't really expect it to come with gaskets. I haven't put many miles on it yet or been really hard on it at all yet so we'll see how it holds up over time. I'll be keeping an eye on the welds. didnt get any weird smells or anything when i first installed it and ran it.

Great replacement for stock catalytic converter
I have a 2006 Legacy 2.5i sedan, and it had the common issue of a bad catalytic converter. I initially replaced the sensors, but when the CEL came back on, I knew I'd need a new cat. apparently this is a common issue on some of these subarus, so it doesn't surprise me that you can get replacements like these for so cheap. Don’t waste your money.
I bought one to replace a failed oem manifold/converter. It lasted 14 months and then the catalyst failed inside. I had to jump through so many hoops to receive a warranty replacement. Never do you speak with anyone in the US. It’s a struggle to understand the person on the phone. You have to pay money for a mechanics diagnosis, even though the problem is crystal clear. Also pay to ship it back to them. Replacement manifold was installed and had a really annoying chirping sound that appeared due to how it was welded up inside. It lasted 2 months and all of the internals had disintegrated. It was basically hollow when removed. Only a golf ball sized piece of the catalyst was left inside. Another replacement was installed and it lasted roughly 3 months. Again, with the same annoying chirping sound. You can here the catalyst material rattling around inside like a rock in a coffee can. So I’m now out almost $500 and have to get again buy another manifold. It’s cheap garbage and will leave you needing another one.
