  • This Apple-brand "Thunderbolt" cable fun...

This Apple-brand "Thunderbolt" cable functions with my older MacBook Pro. While using this cable for the first time, I'm discovering that my laptop's ports are unstable, causing my connection to fail. Re-establishing a connection requires jiggling, trial & error. Although this cable transfers data at a high speed, it's not fast enough to prevent my buggy Mac from shutting itself off (crashing) while transferring large files. An HDMI cable would do a similar job (but maybe more slowly).

  • Cable works perfectly.

It works great. Price was significantly cheaper than buying in the Apple store. I use it to connect a video camera to a Blackmagic Mini Studio Recorder to my Macbook Pro.

  • great value

works well on my macbook thunderbolt eGPU setup. The one I received has some rust coloring on one end of the cable but that did not affect the stability or performance. Overall great value compare to paying double for a new one.

  • The Fastest cable but expensive

Well, Thunderbolt is the fastest port to transfer data, much faster than USB 3.0. If you have a Mac and a Sonnet Echo, you must get it, because if not the Sonnet Echo doesn't work. The problem is the cost... is the most expensive cable.

Looks & works just like new! I have a 14" M1 Pro and an Apple LED Monitor. I was able to buy the Apple USB-C to thunderbolt adapter, then use this thunderbolt cable to go to the back of the monitor. Better than taking apart my monitor to replace the factory squid cable!

  • Great source for reasonable Thunderbolt 2 style cable

The Spectrum install guy managed to bend my thunderbolt cable going from my AppleMini to my Drobo. The AppleMini connected to the TV via HDMI. I looked all over for the older (and better) Thunderbolt2 style cables and they are super costly. So I went on Ebay and found this listing with solid ratings. It arrived quickly, well packaged, easy to open, plugged right in and I am back in business. Worked like a charm. Nice white real apple style cable too.

  • Thunderbolt2 cable good

what could be better than a sealed Apple cable for a good price. granted that is is a last-gen cable because Apple’s moved to Thunderbolt3 via USB-C but I needed to connect to an Apple Thunderbolt2-to-Thunderbolt3 adapter to transfer data and there’s no Thunderbolt3-to-Thunderbolt2 cable for data from any vendor.

I have an older Apple Thunderbolt 27-inch display and wanted to use a new cable into the rear connector to bypass the built-in Thunderbolt 2 cable, which I guessed might be failing. This cable worked great, thank you.

  • Cable doesn’t work. Tried it with 3 diff...

Cable doesn’t work. Tried it with 3 different Macs that all support thunderbolt 2. Spent a lot of time troubleshooting different possible issues and it turned out that the cable simply doesn’t work. And yes I did try going through a thunderbolt dock with the necessary thunderbolt 2 to 3 converter. Also tested the cable by directly connecting 2 thunderbolt 2 capable Macs to create a bridge and that didn’t work. I wished it worked because now I have to probably wait another 2 weeks for a cable.

  • Actual Thunderbolt cable and works well

Unlike some cables that look the same and are just Mini DisplayPort cables, this is a real Thunderbolt cable. Works great and great condition.
