If I had a son or daughter, I’d love it more than them. It cleans up after me. I can make it stop, go. I haven’t tried asking it to go left or right but I bet it’ll go wherever I lead it. If/when I move, it’ll always be with me until the end of its time.

Some kinks but I would buy again.
Works remarkably well. Love the no-go lines. Occasionally, I have to return it to the docking station. Sometimes it gets stuck on my desk, which is understandable because the leg design on my desk and chair is quite messy to get around. And sometimes it pushes the dock out of the way when it is vacuuming. Which is no problem unless it turns it enough that it can't dock. Other than that, it is great. Cleans well and navigate pretty nicely. I would definitely buy again.

Does not live up to my expectations.
I bought this because I had an earlier model. This model has a wider brush, a better filter, and a larger dust bin. I don't care about the connectivity. Yes, it picks up lots of dust and hair. We have 3 cats and I never realized how much hair they leave on the floor that we couldn't see. The best way to see all this dirt is to put a flashlight on the floor and see what reflects. I went through the Quick Start and couldn't connect to my Wifi, no matter how hard I tried. I learn that the current software doesn't work if your Wifi password has punctuation characters in it. I'm still able to run without the connection by pushing the button. The software seems to get easily mixed up and wastes time going over and over the same place. It does not hug the wall like I was hoping, leaving the corners unclean. I'm very disappointed so far.

All that we need
This is our second Neato vacuum. So far this one works as well or a little better than the first and having the app to connect and control the vacuum is a really nice addition. With three and sometimes four dogs, the vacuum does a great job keeping the floors clean.

Good price for a robotic vacuum that maps the house. Does a good job overall and doesn't get stuck too often. Would like more battery life. Must recharge twice to cover our house not including two bedrooms and a walk in closet that are closed. Haven't had it long enough to rate reliability, but based on what I know about price and performance I would certainly recommend it.

Failed Mother’s Day present
Doesn’t seem to work properly. Won’t stay connected to wifi, have to resync it every day or just manually turn on. Misses rooms. Totally stopped moving while still on last night, tried turn it off and back I’m still nothing. Not even sure it works at all at this point and haven’t even had it a month. My mom has the exact same D4 that she’s had over a year and it performs perfectly though.

Although ealrier models were more friendly without wifi, the D4 model requires a couple of tricks but it stills complete its work beautifully, to see it going under the dining table working around chair legs is proof of effectiveness, being square it does not need brushes to trap anything making Neato vacuums the only choice in the market if ypu want to clean each corner

Solid RoboVac!
Neato makes a great robovac, this is our second one. Out first has been going strong for 5+ years and now it's relegated to upstairs duty. The new neato is a big improvement over our old one. Run time is longer, cleans better and the no go lines is a fantastic feature.

One Hundred Percent Garbage!
Worked for a week. Now it constantly disconnects from wifi, so you have to go through the same setup process over and over and over again. When it is finally connected it now starts then stops at random saying path needs to be cleared. My floor plan is wide open and it stops in a clear open space flashing red. Go under furniture now and cant make it out. Total waste of a couple hundred bucks.
