This Ring Doorbell Pro 2 replaced an older Ring doorbell that the battery had failed. Its hardwired using the DC Voltage from the original doorbell. The fisheye view covers the entire front entryway and is so much clearer, 1346 vs 1080. Fairly easy to install Different from the original Ring doorbell, in that you screw the entire doorbell to the bricks and attach the clip-on faceplate last. I recommend purchasing via Ebay

This device is spectacular! There is only one drawback. After a grace period, there is a yearly charge of $30.00 per year. The video capture is wonderful and the color night vision is excellent. These are the views that the doorbell captures and a satellite view offered by Ring of my property. It, also works seamlessly with Alexa Show.
