A timeless movie of AC/DC in their prime, "Let There Be Rock" features a live concert in Paris, France during the final months of the Highway to Hell tour. Of all the AC/DC footage available, this movie has not only a live concert, but also the candid interviews of the entire band (especially the late great Bon Scott) mixed between the songs. A real shame that this movie is not available on DVD, as neo-AC/DC fans miss out on a chance to see what Bon was like away from the microphone. "Family Jewels" is nice, but features only music. This movie needs to be brought into the modern age with a format more durable than decaying VHS video. Until the powers that be make the smart decision to do so, the 2000 VHS release is the most modern incarnation available. So see the concert featured in the Bonfire CD Set and buy this movie and demand the DVD come soon!Read full review
This documentary is a must for all die-hard AC/DC fans. It features them in concert shortly before Bon Scott passed on. It shows them rocking out to several of their hits ("Highway to Hell" included.) As for this item, it played wonderfully. There were no blurs or skips. It didn't jump ahead or fade out at inappropriate times. AC/DC fans would be advised to strap themselves into their seats before watching.

This is a movie I had as a teen, The BEST AC/DC performance Ever recorded! "in there prime". It can only be found on VHS , I wished They Would Release It on DVD!!??. If you don't know about this film and love you some AaCa/DaCa find it buy it and VCR to play it on. and see just why AC/DC IS THE GREATEST ROCK n ROLL BAND ON THE PLANET. OoooEeeee. Oi Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. all BON!
I bought this item as I love the AC/DC pre-Brian Johnson era. Any CD's, DVD's, VHS tapes of this time period in the history of AC/DC are appealing to me. This particular VHS tape was in its original plastic wrap which I knew would then be in great shape. There is nothing not to like about his video if you like Bon Scott and AC/DC.
An excellent show. Good interviews and show/tour footage of the first and the last real rock n roll band.
