It took me an hour and half to assemble it. But the assembly itself is very easy and it’s just the number of screws. When it comes to performance, 3 days after adding the organic matter, my tumble had a temperature of around 92 F while the outside temperature was 60 F. I would say that’s awesome. I am yet to get my compost done as it is less than 6 weeks for my first batch. My advice is sprinkle water regularly so that the microbes get some moisture. I went for all black because it can absorb and retain better than the ones with colou. Black is also cheaper and makes compost quicker IMHO.
While I like the product overall, the instructions were not very good and the quality is not very good. I hope the composer can withstand the riggers of composting without falling apart
