I am a big fan of CSI Miami and received the game CSI Hard Evidence for a gift. After receiving CSI Hard Evidence I decided to purchase the game CSI Miami. Having played both games I can say that they are both good and have the same style of game play but they are extremely irritating at times. The game is built on a story line bases which requires you to follow its' preset train of thought. For example: When you start at a crime scene the game will only allow you to collect specific pieces of evidence and will prevent you from collecting all of the evidence at one time. Instead the game will send you back to the crime scene latter and allow you to collect the rest of the evidence or more that you were already aware of. You have to follow the story line process or you will not be able to advance in the game. It will sometimes take hours to figure out all of the games requirements to continue moving forward even though you are aware of what needs to happen next. The game will force you to complete very specific task before you can continue, this is extremely aggravating. Overall, I enjoy the game but sometimes just stop playing it because my thought process is way faster than it allows to play.Read full review
If you are a fun of the show, you will love the game. There are 5 cases to solve. That may not seem like many but you will spend several hours on each case (or at least I did). Someone mentioned in another review about not being able to save which is not the case. In the setup options, you can turn on auto save which saves your place if you decide to quit in the middle of a case. When you start again, you will start where you left off. It can be a little tricky at first. After the first case, I had it all down about how to do the evidence. There are some glitches that slow down the movements of the characters, but in all, it had good graphics. I think overall the game could use some "help" because I found a few times wondering why this or that wasn't done because it would have been done if it was a real case. So not realistic but still fun to play.Read full review
C.S.I. Miami is my favorite out of all of the different genres of the TV series and the PC game adaptation of the show is no different. You really get to feel a part of the team by collecting evidence, using the tools of the C.S.I. trade, breaking down information and figuring out how these certain crimes went down. The only problem I have (which, in a sense, is a game breaker) is that you cannot save your progress. It is supposed to save it automatically when you exit but alas, it does not. Yes, before you inquire, I have autosave enabled and whatnot. The even bigger problem is a lot of people have this very same issue and yet the issue was never resolved. It is unfortunate because this game has so much potential. What is strange to me is that, when I first bought the game when it came out, it saved just fine and I played through all of the cases without any hiccups. So, you can take your chance in purchasing the game but do plan on setting about 3 or more hours aside and playing it straight through because there is nothing more vexing to put so much time into a case(s), just to come back another day and find all your hard-earned progress totally gone.Read full review

Ideal for any CSI: Miami fan. Game takes you through 5 exciting cases with all of the CSI: Miami characters. All the voices are preformed by the actors, and the graphics make it seem real. If you don't mind the small glitches in the game, it will be a fun experience for all who play. I hope that another CSI: Miami game comes out in the future and is as smooth and enjoyable as this one was.
I bought this game a while back and loved almost everything about it. Only thing I really didn't like was it was a little too easy to beat, and then the fun was over. If you are a big fan of the CSI series then this game (plus the other two) are just great to add to your gaming buys. The game was very detailed and very simple to understand. I had a little bit of a problem with a glich but I downloaded the patch from the website and it fixed the problem right up. I would like to see them bring out a game with more than five crimes to solve... just seems to go by too fast for me.
