blow up your video is a rock solid cd, by a great band. its worth the money. ac/dc play hard rock...and they dont try to keep up with the music trends. it seems after back in black...ac/dc went steadily down hill. wich is a damn shame, flick of the switch was good..fly on the wall too. but ac/dc dosnt care if it wins a popularity contest. without this cd..your brian johnson era ac/dc collection isnt complete.
This is definitely a good album. Why? It was AC/Dc's answer to the 'pop rock' and 'glam rock' of the time. I do not hate the pop or glam rock by any means, but when things got tough, AC/DC took a stand and produced another great album. "Go Zone", "Kissin' Dynamite", "That's the Way I Wanna Rock and Roll" and, "Heatseeker" are songs that have a drive and power. It may be the same three chords, but, they know what works, and they go far here.
Sent out quick but took a long time to arrive. Item looks great A+ to shipper. Thanks!

Before the lull in AC/DC's "90's" period there was Blow Up Your Video. This was a kick-arse take-no-prisoners release. The hallmark of this cd is the outstanding guitar playing of Angus Young and the driving percussion mixed with the straining vocals of Brian Johnson. The band was very much still on top of its game on this studio cd but the vocals were a bit shaky to me, and that is the only reason why this gets a 4 star (because I'd rate the band and the music itself a 5 for sure).
I love AC/DC, which if youve read any of my other reveiws, you know that by now, and Im sure you dont really care. But, I just wanna express my passion and apprecciation for quite possibly the greatest rock band of all-time! This album was strange for me. There are actually 3 songs on this record I dont like! There are 2 that are "ok". But, There are 5 songs on this cd that will BLOW YOUR ASS AWAY!!! SO, buy this. It is well worth having.
