GOOD PRICE, DECENT PRODUCT BUT BAD INVENTORY CONTROL.
I purchased the two wheel bearing set for my '01 F250. Detroit Axle shipped two completely different manufacturer's bearings. Granted both fit my truck and are performing fine so far, one had a ball peened type finish and came without new studs requiring me to remove and reuse old studs while the other had a smooth stainless steel type finish and came with brand new studs. Tore up retaped box, missing studs
When box arrives it is retaped with 2 holes on one side.. I videotaped box as it was.. I opened box, stud packet bags were tore up looking as they where sitting where holes appeared when box was mishandled in transit… only 2 out of 8 studs were present, 6 where lost somewhere between California and Maine. Hubs appear fine but unable to install yet as Detroit Locker won’t send replacement studs because they can’t give me an address to send my videos I took. This is the fourth set of hubs on my 2000 F250 4x4. The price was right for these and I hope they are made in the USA. The guarantee on the ad says 10 year but if one goes to the warranty information from Detroit Axle, it states 1 year. I have about 325000 miles on the truck. We'll have to see how long these last.
