This is the one Leonard Cohen album I don't care for. Lyrically it's Cohen with the sex front and center but musically it loses me. I have a feeling that Phil Spector is probably the one to blame for that. Hardcore Cohen fans might want to check it out but the casual listener should beware. 3 Stars.
I bought it as a present to my husband.We both love Leonard Cohen and enjoyed this early tape which is quite different from his better known tapes.
This is not the Leonard Cohen that I know, the music is so different and not enjoyable......Bad Choice
