Any song there you remember? I used to own everyone of these records on 45. Anyone out there remember what a 45 is? Not the one that Samuel Colt or John Browning made. The Thompson SubMachine gun was old hat when these records came out. I am not sure and can anyone tell me now that everything is on CD does the word "Record" mean anything anymore? I think all we have any more is album. Still to be able to get everyone of the hits that are on this CD is fantastic. Why is it that I can not remember what I had for breakfast but I know by heart every word to songs like "Little Old Lady From Pasadena"? Is there anyone out there that is under 50 that can remember "The Anaheim, Azusa & Cucamonga, Sewing Circle, Book Review, and Timing Association"? How much did I pay for 22 Records that were made out of Black Vinyl Plastic? The first 5 or 6 of these records I paid at least $1.98. You see the Music store that Rich's Mom owned. That was a buddy of mine. They Charged $1.98 for 45's that had made the TOP TEN on the local KYJC weekly countdown. But if I bought these 45's when they first hit the shelves. I could get them for $1.09 that is a savings of $.89 Gee Pop's that ain't much is it? Hey The Same week in 1966 that the 45 of "BATMAN" came out the price of Gasoline was $.19.9 Now we are talking the good stuff here "HI-TEST" This was the Chevron White Pump. HIGH LEAD content and all. Let me see 91 octane which is fantastic octane rating for today and the get a great price for it too at least $3.20 a gallon. at that rate the 22 records would have sold for $70.40. Dang that makes this album one of the biggest bargain's on the Scene. I hope that those who have enjoyed the music did get a chance to see the Movie about Jan and Dean. First off it shows a young guy that had it all almost losing even his life. Due to a auto accident. Then it is a fantastic view of a very determined young man that was told he would not walk or talk again not only doing both of those thing but doing them very well thank you. Jan I think everyone who has an accident that is life altering as Yours was should have to watch the movie as part of their recovery. For those injured people out there look how good Jan did. My accident wasn't that bad I only broke 5 vertebra in my back, and my shoulder blade and collar bone tore up the shoulder. Hey I was going 15mph in a parking lot on a motorcycle. PS THE BIKE BROKE! I get around fine and the last time I saw Jan and Dean in Concert they were doing great as well. Go granny go granny go granny go. It's the little ole man saying thanks drayRead full review

Despite the plain cover, this is the definitive collection of the best of Jan and Dean's work. The date range of the songs included is good and the audio remastering is excellent. Would highly recommend. -mj
