Elvis with some of the best accompaniment that he ever worked with- My favorite Elvis recording of all time. The musicians and back-up singers are AMAZING! What I love is that he is back at his roots with the Black gospel influence in this album. The conversion to digital was done so cleanly with the remastering of this CD. The 24K gold is a nice touch even though it in itself doesn't add sound quality. CDDA does not change based on the medium as long as it is without defects.

Just Couldn't.... take listening to this one over and over, and I am an Elvis fan! Basically the songs are toooo slow, the compilation is not great, and the choice of recordings were not varied enough. I remember the movie, have replayed it a few times, and it's the video portion that makes the thing worth watching... not the audio worth replaying. Save your money and buy a better Elvis CD, there are plenty of them out there!
