Little known advantage of LD
When my Pioneer combo DVD/laser crapped out, I knew I had to replace it. Because I have tons of laser discs that I still enjoy, and could never see replacing. This movie is an example. With LD, us analog guys can enjoy movies full screen most of the time, except in cases where widescreen is true and not just matted. I have several LD's that I've compared to the DVD version, and the DVD is color corrected by a computer. That's not always good. And sometimes the laser disc has a different version of a film, with scenes not in the DVD. The quality of this movie is excellent, and so close to the matted DVD that I wish I hadn't bought it sooner.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
