I'll be honest I only saw this film cause Madonna was in it. She plays the role of a *gasp* witch!. Its wickedly funny in some moments but the rest of the film sort of drags on. Its a shame in the end all of the different characters like Antonio Banderas didnt meet up in the same room with each other. Instead we get sort of a mash up of different films put into one. Could have been much better
Tim Roth became one of my favorite actors after watching this film. There are 4 great directors behind this film and Tim Roth still steals the show. As the bellboy he is so witty and fun, the gestures and all the small nuances in his movements are hilarious and genius. Tim Roth carries a swag like no other and I could not imagine someone doing a better job in their portrayal of this bellboy character. To make it even better there are 4 Incredible Directors putting this wonderful character in some really dramatic, funny and original scenarios. So in conclusion I really love this film and highly recommend giving it a view. It's one of my favorite films and when you think it cant get better to put the cherry on top Bruce Willis comes out the cut.

So happy to find a great deal on this DVD. This hilarious all-star 90s classic is one of my top ten favorites of the 90s. The cast is excellent, and the writing is superbly original...even the last bit, inspired by "The Man From the South" episode of Roald Dahl's Tales of the Unexpected, has a hilarious twist on the story.

My husband was telling me one day about this oddball comedy called Four Rooms explaining that each scene took place in a different hotel room and that each was directed by someone different. Well first off I really am not a comedy person it has to be pretty amazing for me to even give it a chance let alone like it. So my expectations for this movie were less than nothing. So the movie starts and by the time the first scene with the old man and Tim Roth is over I'm already losing interest. Well the second they start in with Tim Roth's character I'm hooked he is what makes this movie. First I don't know how anyone could pull a character like that off and pull it off well and second how could they ever get a scene done because I don't see how the whole crew was able to contain their laughter. If I were there seeing him in person as this character I think I might bust a blood vessel laughing so hard. Needless to say by the time it gets to the scene where Antonio Banderas comes into his room dragging his drunk wife and there's Tim Roth with a dead whores leg in his hand and a syringe sticking out of his leg, well I was hooked. I laughed more in this movie than any I have seen in years. So if you haven't seen it you should it is well worth the $6 I won it for on ebay!Read full review
I had actually seen the film years ago, and remembered that it was funny, the last skit in particular, so I bought it. It is indeed a very well made film. It is that zany yet fun hodgepodge that I love about Tarantino films. It is graphic at times, so stay clear if you don't like that, and it is certainly adult, but it is also fun and wild and a very clever mix of fiction, fantasy and reality. I really like the film. My husband hated it, until the last skit, which he loved as well.
