When you combine a 5 star hip-hop band with a few 5 star guest appearances, what more can you produce than a 5 star album? The Roots, the best thing since sliced bread when it comes to a live hip-hop band. "Things Fall Apart" in my opinion is there second best album since "Do You Want More?" for the sake of innovation and soulfulness. With guests DJ Jazzy Jeff, Erykah Badu, Common and Dice Raw, this album is a memorable album. Best tracks being "Act Too...The Love Of My Life" that features Common, "You Got Me" featuring Erykah Badu and "The Next Movement" that features Dj Jazzy Jeff.
The quality of the cd is great. hardly any scratches, smooth cd play, booklet and cover clean as a whistle. Songs on album are great and talk about life that many can relate to. the final track has to be the most influential to poets and creates vivid imagination with mere words. all in all an amazing album.
Tight rhymes and instrumentation from start to finish. Dynamite! to Without a Doubt to Ain’t Saying Nothin’ New is the best sequence.
