Having already heard the original Band of Gypsies albums, I wasn't sure I really wanted to hear more. Now I think this was his best band -- not in sheer talent maybe, but for telepathic interaction. *All* the BoG releases are valuable listening, and while this has four songs duplicated on the Machine Gun release, it's worth having simply for the two performances of "Machine Gun" which aren't on the the other two BoG releases. Definitely recommended.

This is one of the best albums from the era.....Hendrix fans all have it, if you're new to Jimi's music, you gotta get it. The modern re-mastering is near flawless, but if it were perfect, then it wouldn't sound as good as it does.....Buy it now.
