Interesting sequel to BLACK CAESAR. The characters of his father and ex love interest who were still left at the end of Caesar reprise their roles. What makes it really fascinating is playing Larry Cohen's voiceover as to how the movie was made. How the lead, Fred "The Hammer" Williamson, was working on 2 pictures at once; one in Hollywood and this one in New York. He could only work on this one on the weekends. A stand-in for Fred was used for the far shots, non-facials and Williamson's character close-ups were cut-in the editing room. Cohen gives his own take on Guerilla Filming 101.
The movie brought back memories of seeing this movie back in the day. As I look at it now I find myself laughing at the movie, but back then it had a lot of action and Fred Williamson wins at the end of the movie.
