This is a favorite of mine from childhood done in DVD format. It's a colorful engaging story with humor, adventure, imagination and magic. Full of sparkle and fun characters from the boy who never grows up, Tinkerbell the much loved Disney original fairy, mermaids, pirates, old west indians and so many more. This is rated G family fun. Grandpa enjoys watching it with his fascinated grand children. Great for toddlers on up.

It has been five decades since I first saw this film. The special edition is worth every penny because not only has the film lost none of its magic for the young, or for the young at heart, but the many extra features are great. I enjoyed every minute watching it.

I have seen many versions of this timeless classic, but Disney's animated tale of Wendy, Peter Pan, and Neverland is by far one of my favorites. Though Disney did divert from the "real" story a bit, I feel that the changes were necessary for what they needed to accomplish...Making the story easier for young children to enjoy and understand. At least that's how I see it. For instance; we all know that Tinkerbell saved Peter by drinking his poisoned medicine. However, Disney changed it to a bomb in a gift box. Without these changes the movie would have been too long and not as enjoyable to a lot kids. Mine, being 3 the first time they watched it, got the bomb. But poison was a little over their heads. My 4 year olds love this movie! It is so fun and the songs are very catchy too - My son sings one of them constantly. And even though I have grown up and seen more adult type Pan movies, my heart always feels like a kid again every time I watch this version with my children.Read full review
I just love this movie for my three year old daughter. It makes me so happy to see the joy in her eyes when I put it on. Her face just lights up when Tinkerbell comes into the Nursery. Granted some people may think this is a little violent but I think it's no worse than what's on T.V. or in the movies these days. (I had put Kung Fu Panda on for her and she was so scared I turned it off) It's just a good clean movie full of timeless characters and wonderful life lessons.
