What can be said that isn't redundant about this faithfully great WWII series? Having had a father and uncles who served in the war and saw that combat it was rewarding to actually see what I had only heard old tales of. These discs truly reveal so much of that fantastic generation of men who lived and died through one of the worst periods of history. So rare to come across seriously enjoyable learning experiences.

This is my favorite movie and I am so glad to own it in it’s beautiful presentation box. The movie is based on real characters and real events of Easy Company and World War 11. The research done on the movie was very accurate according to the living survivors at the time it was produced. I have followed up on the main characters since seeing the movie. Richard Winters did indeed retire on a farm in Lancaster, PA and is buried there. “Wild Bill” and “Babe” were both from South Philadelphia. My son and I visited the place where Philadelphians erected a statue in their honor. We also visited the St. Peter and St. Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA where Bill Guarnere is buried. It was the movie that brought this “Band of Brothers” to the general publics attention. It is very inspiring and this movie is a must see for all generations. The actual product I bought was better than the pictures and the quality was like new. This was one of my best purchases. I will enjoy it with my family for a long time to come. I bought this series for my son for Christmas, and we put the movies on and binge-watched from beginning to end. It brought laughter, outrage, and tears. My son had just enlisted in the Marine Corps and I was under the mistaken impression that as long as he was in a foxhole, he'd be safe. There was a scene where this proved to be wrong impression to have, so it was truly a terrifying wake up call for me. Overall, it was a great series and I would highly recommend it.

Band of brothers is my all time favorite series, the characters are incredible. I love everything about it! I assume that most people purchasing this product have already seen it. With that being said, the product is great, there is one teeny tiny dent on the side of the tin, however that is to be expected with used products. Every disc runs with out flaw, if you’re looking for this disc set I absolutely recommend this one! It even came in it’s original sleeve, although there was no plastic casing.

excellent cast, screenplay, When I watched it on TV, i watched all 12 hours straight through..there are one or two criticisms. There were 2 episodes that focused on one individual or character type. the one about the scared soldier, and the one about the medic..i found that they didn't need to be a whole episode about them and if they found that they wanted to, they could have picked Lt. Spears or Winter or Lipton instead. but that would be my only complaint. otherwise, loved it.
