Absolutely the best phone ive ever owned.
This is the 4th LG V40 I have purchased. The only reason I have had to purchase so many is because they don't respond well to being ran over, drowned when having a cracked screen etc. Needless to say these phones have put up with a lot. I have owned the V50 as well as my share of other brands and I keep coming back to this one. The battery life is as good or better than anything else out there... The cameras in almost all light conditions in my opinion beat any iphone and even the over rated Samsung. Screen resolution, brightness and overall quality are spectacular. Best of all it doesnt have that over hyped and annoying to press curved screen like Samsung has. Also the glass is typically very durable and does not crack easily.. Unless ran over by an f150. The speaker and ear piece sound are good and loud. Not the best ive ever heard but plenty clear and good sound range. When using the headphone jack to connect to any audio system the quality is very obvious. The phone is reasonably water resistant. Best of all, I have crammed a mass quantity of apps of every kind you can imagine and whether it be a game or other intensive app, this thing still has hardly any or no lag when opening or running them. Other brands ive wanted to throw at a wall by now. This phone isn't the thinnest ultra light thing that launches out of your hand at the slightest movement but it has a good solid feel especially when a nice slim case is on it. It holds up well. Has never given me any screen of death lockups or weird boot issues. Frankly its the most reliable phone I have ever owned and I have been thru a lot.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Pretty great, but why follow Apple ?
Despite the stated 6.4" screen, this phone is quite petite. In fact, it's very iPhone-like (which is not really the apex of cel phone design. Screen notches- why??). But the screen is lovely, the phone is speedy & packed with memory, and it runs all day on the upgraded battery I put in it.
