Awesome calipers
This is an extremely good quality caliper. Working in an ISO machine shop, along with mitutoyo and starrett tools, these calipers make repeat measurements, time after time, are easy to use and have an easy to read dial. The metric / SAE / fraction feature is outstanding. Extremely accurate. Love the extra large knob too ! I'll put 'em up against ANY brand in a test. As good a caliper as I've ever used.
I bought this caliper because my eyes just can't read a vernier without a magnifier, but now that I have used it, I prefer it over my vernier calipers. It is light in the hand, the thimble drives the ram smoothly, the anvil faces are carbide and polished to a mirror finish, and the display is large and clear. It is sturdy enough for use in the shop, but I don't know how it would hold up to use in the field. It's a wonderful caliper, and especially at this price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Top shelf quality at a reasonable price!
These calipers are top shelf quality. I have used calipers for years for reloading ammunition and checking overall length of fresh loads. I have been using the pair purchased from Dillon but they are analog and I wanted to upgrade to digital. I did a lot of research and landed on these beauties. A bit flimsy, did not work well till I disassemble it
The display on unit I got was erratic. Sometimes the numbers just kept jumping around, and a lot of times it was inaccurate. That is until I disassembled it, and took out the battery. When I assembled it back, it works fine now, but I didn't change anything. So I'm not sure what's wrong with my unit.
