This was a blind buy for me after doing my homework, and I don’t regret it at all. First of all, this is a great price for a 4.2oz PDM and it’s noticeably authentic as soon as you spray it. I won’t go into a note breakdown because chances are anyone reading reviews already knows them. I expected quality, however, the performance is something that surprised me for a year-round scent. I get ~15 hours on my skin. 5-6 hours of solid projection, then sits closer to the skin, but anyone close to me can still detect it 10 after hours of use. That’s quality. 4-6 sprays and you’re good all day. It’s a very intoxicating scent, not cloying at all and very unlikely to offend anyone. I will definitely buy this again and others from the house of Parfums de Marley!

Layton is considered a long lasting perfume with a strong sillage, but this product doesn't perform. There are some issues: since the moment I removed the cap, the juice started to leak from the base of the sprayer. The second digit of the lot number is different from the bottle to the box. Finally I decided to buy a decant of the same perfume from a local store to compare the quality of the juice and I found that this product is absolutely weaker. There's a lot of red flags, I don't think this is legit.

This purchase was a influential buy I made because I watched reviewers like Gentscents, BigBeardBusiness and JeremyFragrance. Honestly if 3 big influential people such as them all complementing this fragrance house and scent, there's no way it can be bad. So here's my thoughts on it. I'll try to be as unbias as possible. Layton is probably the ONLY green apple scent I have in my collection, and I'll tell you now, the apple opening is STRONG. This fragrance isn't harsh and projects beautifully without being offensive.Aside from the first 3 hours of powerful apple notes, the dry down goes into a vanilla, sandalwood and muskiness. I love both the opening and the dry down, only thing I wish for is that the opening would last a little longer. Ratings: Quality : 10/10 Projection : 9/10 Longevity : 9/10 Price: 8/10 Overall: 9/10 Is this worth the blind buy? YES!
