Excellent wire
This is great flux core welding wire. I only have a cheapo Chicago Welding 90 amp flux core welder. I was ready to throw the machine in the trash , I'm glad I didn't , because the issue was the Vulcan wire from the local store. This stuff was the same price as the Vulcan except I got two two pound rolls , not one. Got tired of using the standard basics in the market. Either the core wasn't filled correct or the wire wasn't stored or whatever it may be I wanted to step outside Lincoln, shotgun, Hobart, Finley, ect ect Flux cores and glad I did!!!! This wire shocked me....low heat and low wire feed 1-2 speed and this wire lays as good as a gas setup.. Easy pass,stinger, firgure8 you name it this wire was like butter.... The last flux core wire you will ever buy!!
This has been the best flux core wire I've ever tried next to "welding city" wire. this burns hot, smooth and beautifully! Slag chips of nicely right after I lay my bead. Only took a chipping hammer and a wire brush to get it this clean. I had to preheat this thick metal to about 350°F Got a hobart handler 120 and these are my welds.

I've got a cheap-o harbor freight welder and I've tried big name wires from other suppliers and for a flux core wire this stuff helps a newbie out. I was using it on 3/16th hardened steel. It gave great penetration and very little slag compared to competitors resulting in a better weld.
