The first day it arrived I pulled it out of the box and started using it. I cut down a tree that was over 12 ft tall with a thickness of around 4-6” (I didn’t measure), and I didn’t even recharge the battery. I used it right out of the box! This pole saw went through it easy and quickly. You get what you pay for that is for sure. It may be more expensive then other brands but it is built to do the job right and last longer then one summer. It’s also versatile. It has the ability to become many other tools (do a little research and you will see). The battery lasts a long time too. I recommend this pole saw over any other because it’s easy, needs no engine or electrical cord, it’s powerful, and can be used for years ( I’ve only had mine a little while but I have friends who have used them and they gave rave reviews as well). You won’t be disappointed with this pole saw!Read full review

I have been using a pole saw since the first ones came out and now at 77 I have difficulty cranking my chain saws. After buying my 1st Milwaukee drill 20 years back, I trust Milwaukee tools. So the new chain saw on a stick with brushless motor is a delight. It is does the job just like the gas one and when you start cutting you just have to put the triggers and instant on and cut. An adjustible shaft would be an asset, but most of my cutting is either full out or in. Using my other tools batteries that interchange is a very good asset. The "D" handle on the shaft? The jury is still out on it. I have kicked it conter-clockwise about 75 degrees. I still don't know if I will use it from a canoe as we do the gas mtr one.

The saw attached very simply and easily yet was very securely held together. Taking apart was also simple and efficient. I have a tall tree and used the full extension plus used an extension ladder of 18 feet to reach some limbs. I do not endorse or recommend the use of a ladder. One must be very careful and well-balanced. Safety is most important. The operation is very simple yet most efficient. This has two-speed functions of high and low which is handy for smaller cuts versus larger ones. I did not even drop one battery bar as of yet which surprised me. The power impressed me being that it is battery operated. No need for proper fuel as with the gas machines. Just charge, plugin and go. Operator safety is not part of this tool but knowing how to use this is your responsibility. When used as it is designed this works extremely well. I have no pictures as did not want my wife watching me on the ladder. I am very impressed with this machine and have more to do.Read full review

You can’t buy the basic battery unit separate, so you don’t have any choice if you had already bought another tool thinking you can get the basic battery unit. So instead of spending a bit, you wind up spending alot.

Husband is very happy with the product. He likes that you can stop and start it when he is cutting limbs. He was hoping to have a way of keeping the key handy so it's with the saw when he needs to change chains. It's well built and easy to use. Would recommend anyone to buy one of these.
