Definitely not the fastest horse in the race, but a couple of things make this a great value for a home computer. First, let it finish all the Windows updates. Then go to HP support assistant and update all the drivers. Then remove unwanted or unnecessary programs, and disable others from startup that are not important. Finally, I added 4gb RAM to the second (open) slot. MUCH better. Found a useful webpage on getting to the RAM sockets by googling the HP model number. It’s not a gaming machine but will be a great machine for 95% of home users with these changes.

Once you turn it on and finish up the updates all the way through - it's a decent machine but this machine is not a multi tasker ... Good for Netflix Youtube and Hulu in HD ... For multi taking you will need to raise the RAM another 4GB ... (Note) when upgrading RAM you will need to pull the DVD drive out before you remove the Face-plate

It's been years since I've owned a desktop computer. This one is great. The processor and the built in DVD player are very fast. I am very pleased with it.

DO NOT BUY. THE SLOWEST COMPUTER IVE EVER HAD. This product came without the box. NO instructions on how to set up at all. I highly recommend looking elsewhere to buy a product.
