The TechPlay Commander is a very good value, in it's price range. The Commander features separate BASS & TREBLE controls; which is a must for the discrete listener. It's compact size makes it easy to find placement space in a small room or office area, and produces quality sound for it's speaker size. The handy remote control is also a convenient feature. I only wish it had the following added features: Auto-stylus return and "Blue-Tooth" out for remote speakers. Otherwise, this is a hard-to-beat system for the price!

Broken from the start
I was very very disappointed because the on/off switch is broken upon arrival and I am not able to turn it on. I am now in a position to find a small electronics repair shop and unfortunately the closest one is very far away. I wish I had been sent a working model.
