A great work machine!
Pros: This is a great work-horse machine! The keyboard is very solid and can take a beating. Has a great feel, too -- you know you've adequately hit the key without any clicking noises. There seems to be no flex even when typing assertively. Also, there is plenty of RAM (I got 8 GB) and it has SSD memory (so no more delicate hard drives). Oh - and I LOVE the touch screen! Cons: This is not superlight like some of the more recent ones. Also, it doesn't have a very long battery life (probably about 2 hours) -- but that's to be expected. If you want longer life, get more battery cells or a smaller, lighter machine. Overall: It's great for what it is. Always liked the DELL Ultrabooks, and the 7450 is no different. They are lightweight enough to carry around from meeting to meeting, versatile and powerful enough to provide all of the powerpoints, zoom meetings, and visio designs that you need for a full day of work, and yet good enough graphics and wifi to allow you to watch a 3 hour movie with no lag time or buffering. The only thing missing is a numerical keypad.
