Good, but not the "kids show" I thought
I grew up on DBZ, but hadn't seen most of this earlier stuff. I am loving the story, but there is so much nudity (mostly young naked Goku and partially obscured Bulma) I find it truly distracting. It does not have the censoring that was shown in America when it was on TV. I knew Master Roshi was a pervert, but I did not realize how heavily they lean into that character trait in these earlier episodes. Still, if you can get past that, the story is engaging, and the characters are pretty good. The constant challenges they face and some creative ways they get around them make for some good stories. It gets better as it goes along and the characters get developed more.

If you are a citizen, you probably would find the characters and violence quite exciting. If you have any knowledge of biker lifestyle or clubs, you would find the series grossly exaggerated and most situations highly suspicious. By the end of the second season, we found ourselves unable to root for anyone or any group of people.

An emotional roller coaster.
Love this series! Action from beginning to end and emotional. One minute you love the bad guys and the next you hate them for what they do. One of the best series I've ever seen and the characters feel like part of the family after awhile. I would recommend it to anyone.

This series is well worth watching if you have a strong stomach for violence. It is a well written drama, IMO. Not sure how close to real life it is, because I'm not an outlaw biker, but the plots, writing, acting are all top notch. I am re-watching the whole series right now.
