Product Information
Everyone's favorite, furry, cat-eating, alien puppet stars in his own made-for-TV film, PROJECT: ALF. Picking up where the final episode of the 1980s sitcom left off, ALF (voiced by series creator Paul Fusco) has left the Tanner household and is on his way to his home planet when he is intercepted by the government's Alien Task Force and imprisoned in an underground Air Force base. With his fate at the mercy of military officer Colonel Milfoil (Martin Sheen), who wants to exterminate the alien, and doctors Mullican (William O'Leary) and Hill (Jensen Daggett), who want to save him, ALF stages a comedic breakout and embarks on a madcap cross-country odyssey to finally get back home. Miguel Ferrer, Ray Walston, and Ed Begley Jr. costar in this zany conclusion to the 1980s pop-culture phenomenon.

Plot is OK, but not tightly written. Lots of unresolved issues. They should have written a sequel and let ALF finally get together with Rhonda to have a family.
This was the long awaited sequel for the Alf series, which ended in 90, and ran for 4 seasons. (86-90)
I find it to be entertaining for adult fans, and still mostly kid friendly in content. I do know everyone has different opinions about the movie, but I feel it does give some follow up closure to the series, which ended in 90, and this did not air until 2002 If I remember correctly on television first, and DVD became on sale in 2005. I have the complete 4 season collectors set, plus this now completes to date, for myself, all the funny memories of the ole ALFSTER!!
Gotta love the old Alf! Great to see this movie available for those of us who just can't get enough of Alf. I do wish there had been more of the original cast with him for the movie, but if you are a true Alf fan, this is a mus-have for your collection.
Even though the Tanner Family was not in the movie, the explanation if the scenario. It definitely tied up the questions from the last TV episode. ALF was still in rare form.
A must see for all ALF fans. Continues from where the series abruptly left off. Answers some questions and should get us ready for the proposed ALF remake just announced. Kind of a simple movie but so was ALF. All in all, we liked it.
