This was a good movie in terms of the footage and the interviews with Kurt's grandfather and close friends but I think I could do without the critics who think they know what's best of Nirvana's music, even though "critical" is in the name of this DVD. I just didn't agree with a little more than one of their opinions. Nirvana is awesome. I would rather just have them talk about and share stories about all the good points of the albums, etc. But worth buying if you are a hardcore fan.
It's only an hour long and the interviews are merely rehashes of the same old characters pretending to have secret insights into Kurt's soul. Kind of phony. This documentary doesn't really hit the mark. Nonetheless, if you're a Cobain fan, buy it and be thankfull there are documentary mills, like the company that made this one, out there. Otherwise we would have nothing.
