Older is Better
With all the new models coming out with 7.1. 9.2, 4k, HDMI I became overwhelmed at the prospect of keeping up with the latest and greatest. I am a bit old school and have always had two channel receivers. These older receivers from the early 2,000's were built well, have just enough features for options down the road should I want to add more speakers. I love the 2 channel option this has and it has bass and treble setting as well as great FM reception and a nice bright display, unlike the newer models that have sacrificed older features for more HDMI inputs. To me, these older receivers are built much better and I love this model. It is perfect for my needs and has great sound.

Very good sound, not perfect, only because it lacks a strong base. It has many connection possibilities, analogue, digital cable (SPDIF), fiber optic and also S-video. The pre-programmed music themes are a bit confusing, as I would prefer just adjusting it all for myself.
