Printer just barely okay
Came with a serial cable when I said I needed a parallel cable. I can't get the color to work. I bought two more color cartridges. The cartridge it came with, nor any of the two, worked. IT person said it has a damaged color print head. B/W printing is not great. reliable with a variety of basic printing features
I have used a HP Deskjet 932C printer since 2000. I make my own greeting cards so enjoy its printing features for envelopes, card stock, and labels. I also make business cards and covers for notebooks, jewel cases, etc. This is my third 932C printer. The ink reservoir gets filled with excess ink so eventually the cartridge carrier fails to move properly so I have to get another printer. All my files for greeting cards, labels, etc. are on my Windows XP computer so it is a great combination. Another Excellent HP DeskJet Printer
Works just like it should no matter how old it is. These last forever and work great. Ink is readily available at a good price considering the size of the ink cartridge. Easily uses any quality of paper from copier to photo. No involved set up required, just be sure to get the power cable. Either of the interface cables (usb or parallel) that can be used to connect to your laptop or desktop are readily available if you don't get them with the printer. Reliable old printer especially for text
This printer made around 2000 still works well. It uses a 42 ml black cartridge with a foil inside envelope that is relatively easy to refill. After a refill, the first few pages may have ink smears, but then it works well. On the other hand the color cartridge has three reservoirs with sponges, making the color cartridge more difficult to refill. (But I don't use color, if I have to I could get a new color cartridge.) If you get the occasional paper jam, be sure to pull the paper out the back of the printer, or you risk breaking the 'paper pusher fingers' in front. The ink 'spittoon' (used in cleaning the cartridges) may need to be cleaned out every few years if it builds up too much. Not too difficult, but messy. With these thoughts in mind, the printer is quite reliable and printing is inexpensive since the black cartridge can be refilled.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Disappointed
The printer was shipped with the ink in it and the ink spilled all over the bottom of the printer. The printer wasn't usable when it arrived. The ink was all over the bottom of the printer and on the bubble wrap that it was shipped in. I was really disappointed when it arrived because I had a special event to print programs for. I have found that the Hewlett Packard Deskjet 932C is a very good printer. Reliable HP Classic printer

Okay not Great
