Lifelong musician 35+ years, I've used every breed of strap lock out there from straps with built-in slide locks to typical button snap locks and everything in between. The goal is pretty basic...to faithfully secure the strap to the guitar. You can spend 10-15 bucks for metal button locks that will eventually make contact and ding your guitar. You can spend 30 bucks for a strap with a built-in locks, but if you own more than one guitar you might want more than one strap and at $30.00 each that will add up. Or, if you can't acquire some Grolsch beer bottle washers, these are even better and for the cost of peanuts. They're tough, durable, and fool-proof. If you're worried about losing them, just take some fishing line and tie them off onto your strap buttons. They'll dangle when you're not using a strap, but they'll be there when you need them and wont scratch your guitar. As is often the case, the most simple of things works the very best. Highly recommended!Read full review
