You can blend the sound of both input, but the mic input has an amplifier gain high than the piezo sensor. The sensitivity is so high that you can create feedback high pitch easily. When that happens, you need to turn off the mic and only use the piezo. The screen is too bright for my taste. That also means that you will see it clearly in sunny days. The low impedance jack (three pins) has a push button to disconnect the other jack. It looks weak. Maybe I am bias because I got another model without the mic, and that push button failed. It is a good value for the money. It produces professional sound.

With a little experience it is easy to install, but a paper with cut out drawing and suggestion for placement would help persons without. Some problems with feedback. The shape corresponded well with my guitar. An amplifier with feedback-filter ill help.
