Great design – poorly assembled
This float set is perfect for the Apprentice. It fits perfectly and does not change the balance of the model. There was, however, a construction problem with the set I purchased. On mine the four large plastic anchor points for the support struts were glued to the foam float hulls at the factory with only a tiny drop of glue on each! They all came loose. I had to re-glue them with a generous amount of epoxy. They work great now. One final point: The water rudder is completely ineffective in any kind of a wind. This float set works great on the Apprentice. There was, however, a problem with the set. Cheap parts
Floats are nice and thick but the screws are very cheap Philip heads and they easily strip out. I found upgrading them to Allen heads worked out much better. The instructions are horrible and quite vague. If your familiar with the apprentice this isn't a horrible job but if your not I highly recommend YouTube.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
