  • Well build and stable. Should last and last.

The quality in a stand is what every musician/DJ wants. This stand is very smooth to operate. I would say well built. The equipment set on top will be only as good as the stand holding it. If not, it is on the floor!

  • Perfect for mobile djs!

At first I thought I ordered the wrong size tripod because this tripod looks smaller than the older tripods I’m used to. To my surprise, the legs extended wide enough as well as the height to hold a 15” powered speaker nice and sturdy. If I had a choice, I’d replace all the old tripods with this one due to the bulk difference.

  • Good for the money

This is a pretty well constructed stand. It claims to handle a 100 lb load but I think it might give out with that much weight. I'm not going to try it. The stand is greatly improved with a small mod to the center shaft. I wrote to Rockville and suggested it. Drill a hole above the tripod leg clamp and push in a removable cotter pit. The stand gradually sinks supporting my 45 lb speakers and my DIY mod prevents that. Good value for light use.

  • Just what the Dr ordered

Perfect choice for my use. I mounted a vertical HF antenna while out in the field. Excellent results. Of course, having a 20' antenna attached means the unit needs to be secured and anchored.

  • Lightweight, works well, good value

I bought this for use as a portable antenna support for amateur radio field operations. It works well, isn't too heavy, and folds up nicely.

  • Very nice tripod

I bought this to hold portable antennas for ham radio field work and it works great. Heavy enough to hold up a good sized 2M mast antenna but light enough to carry around comfortable. Very easy to set up and take down also.

  • Speaker stand base too narrow

Solid built stand! Sturdy construction, however the legs are shorter than stands I have purchased previously giving the base a smaller spread! For light weight speakers this shouldn't be a problem, but my speakers weigh 55# and it just doesn't look as safe with the pole extended all the way up!

  • All I could ask for

Very solid stand capable of a lot of height, solidly built and stable. Easy to adjust the height and includes both a clamp and a pin to insure the upright post does not collapse under weight.

  • Sturday unit.

Let me clarify, I love the tripod; i bought it for a Rockville rpg10bt speaker but either the opening on the speaker is too wide or the tube of the tripod is too small. This mismatch allows the speaker to 'wobble' on the tripod; it will not fall but it is not a tight fit....
