The chair fits my son well. He is about 5'5" and about 140 lbs. We lift him into and out of the chair. The good - Very light weight chair. Easy to fold and lift into trunk of car. The armrest flip up so chair fits under tables, but the bar that supports the armrests does not move. You will not be able to exit from the side of the chair. The bad - The black part of the footrest folds up, but footrest will not flip to side of chair. The bar the black footrest is attached to will not flip sideways out of the way, so they are always in the way. We are always tripping on those footrests. The whole footrest and bar will lift up, so the footrest is sticking up in the air, but that just makes it unsafe. When I am transferring my son, I don't want to accidentally set his backside down on the footrest, or even scrape him against it. That would hurt. I would say that if you are mobile enough to get yourself in and out of the chair it will work well for you. But if you need someone to lift and transfer you, you will have the same issue we have. Too many feet trying to fit between the 2 footrests.

  • Excellent ..Narrower for small homes

At least 1 inch narrower than any chair in it's class. Perfect for smaller/older homes. Plus .. it is the only chair near this price with swing-out / removable legs which also rise and lower and tilt away arms. Most give you the option of a chair with swing out/ removable legs OR raise/lower.

  • Solid

Recvd via Fedex in a very sturdy, reinforced cardboard box. Very simply packaged encased in clear plastic, pulled out of box. Opened chair with ease. Very lightweight as wheelchairs go. Very satisfied. I HOPE it doesn't rust.
