Meh.
I don’t understand what all the fuss is about. I bought it after hearing this was everyone’s “desert island“ pedal. Mine was noisy beyond usability. Maybe I got a bad one. But some online research indicates it’s noisy at higher settings in particular (I see similar comments about the Wampler Etheral, so maybe it’s a problem with this kind of pedal, I don’t know). Reverb and delay sounds are decent, but average. Maybe because of the noise I didn’t have the chance to explore [what many claim are] the wonderful interactions between the two effects. I sent it back. I ended up buying a cheap Joyo reverb (based on praise from Josh in a JHS video), and pairing it with a cheap Donner delay. I have more options than the EarthQuaker, and for my use it’s just fine. I’m sorry this was my first experience with EQD, because it seems like they do some really creative stuff, and interviews with the owner are incredibly compelling. Seems like a great guy.
