Use Google maps instead
I recently traveled from Miami to Phoenix and I-10 was closed for a "major incident". The Overdryve said nothing while Google on my phone was trying to tell me to turn off and take an alternate route. A few miles later I found out I should have paid attention to Google and not to the Overdryve as I sat in traffic for an hour. I'll always trust Google before the Overdryve. The touch screen was good and it was reasonably easy to use, however, the suction cup mount was useless and would not grab onto anything even after wetting.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good idea but...
At first I thought this would be just what I needed for my daily driver and work routine but it is too big for my windshield, I lose 7 inches of sight and I have no other place to mount it in my sedan, and the wires are too visible running along the dash. The navigation is too large for the screen and convoluted I'd rather just use my phone. I will probably send it back when I get the time to do so. This item is not for me but someone will be able to make good with it.

Good product, shipped quickly
This is our third Overdryve 7c... in different cars. The os is different from Garmin but gives a lot more information. Finding mapping and routing better than Garmin, but pita to have to turn it on and off for each use.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

I checked the reviews on this and they were very good.
The OverDryve 7c is easy to use and the free map upgrades are awesome because you dont have to get on the computer like you have to with other GPS units. If you have WIFI the updates come for free. Like others mentioned in their reviews, this tablet/GPS really does tend to freeze up quite a bit. I have to power it off and on just about daily because it freezes. I have no problem with this at all. I read a review about it not holding on to the magnet. That's not an issue for me. And plus the magnet makes the tablet oh so much more manageable when you haft to slip seat like I do from truck to truck. Just click off and go or vice versa.
