    Works as Advertised

    Works as claimed. Easy to install a new back-up battery, but battery compartment latch is somewhat difficult to open -- no marking on exterior. Took a few minutes to figure out how to release latch.and that battery compartment swings open on a hinge. Used to replace a faulty unit. .Had no trouble connecting wiring plug to new unit and then fasting unit to base on ceiling with twist-lock connection.
