Worm drive
Excellent! Lots of power. I’m using it with 8ah batteries and couldn’t be happier with the performance- very strong and very accurate cuts. The sight line is pretty good. A little heavy but no more than any other saw in it’s class. Overall a great buy!

Awesome framing saw
What a great framing saw. Plenty of power, on par with what you would expect from a corded milwaukee worm drive saw (seriously). This thing is a beast and the folding rafter hook is very nice. It is pretty dang heavy but that's not really an issue. I would buy again in a heartbeat.

I have 3 other M18 saws , one worthless right blade model Dumbest design EVER for a right handed person, two 6 1/2" left blade , they are ok , the worm drive model is by far their Best saw, I still own 10 corded worm drives , but grab this saw 1st now , as much power as corded models , Very Happy with it
