It features 16 bonus tracks including alternate takes and previously unreleased music along with new liner notes. Recordings were transferred by Plangent Processes with remastering by Paul Blakemore.

A fantastic reissue with good SQ and fantastic extra tracks
Have many CD versions of this album (orig. Fantasy, 20bit K2 and the DCC Gold) in ascending order of SQ. DCC Gold is superb for tonality and realism. Did not expect this recent remaster to be great in CD quality, but was pleasantly surprised. Not the same 'breath of life' as the DCC, but on my system it was close to the hi Rez on Qobuz. Clean sounding with realistic drums and pianos. Decent detail up top if you like that. If you're a fan of Guaraldi or this album, the add'l takes on disc 2 are fantastic. Many deluxe versions have outtakes that are barely different, but Vince's improvisational style of playing makes these additional takes a joy, if not a revelation. Liner notes were decent as well. Highly recommended. One caveat: my CD's were slightly scratched, probably from inserting in the unlined cardboard sleeves of this case.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
