Fixer upper
The price was fair. The unit was advertised as an open box unit, but the unit was used and clearly it had been installed because of the food particles left inside the unit. The motor cover had unsecure and missing screws. The motor sound dampening insulation was improperly installed (folded in half). The port plug for the dishwasher drain hook up had been knocked out. The intake and discharge seals are in good shape, no leaks. The grinder housing had a bad water leak between the top and bottom halves at the O-ring. Found that the grinder ring was not properly seated towards the grinder plate causing the upper housing not to seal to the O-ring.
