Decent card, beware out of support and drivers harder to find. (SF bought by Xilinx)
1 out of 3 of the cards I ordered gave me a "Cooling has failed" error in windows logs and wouldn't work. I did get the other 2 up and running on a NAS4Free and Windows installation. Drivers were harder to find due to them being no longer supported and designed for Server and SolarFlare being bought by Xilinx. I did find the drivers on Xilinx website. If you have a more modern motherboard that supports PCIe 5 you should probably get a newer card that supports PCIe 5. If like me you're running some 9 year old motherboards that only have PCIe 3.0, then this card is probably what you want. Beware putting it in a PCIe 2.0 slot.... you won't get 10gb out of it if you do that.
