I bought this DVD for my 80 year old mother. She goes around singing Lucille and Coward of the County so I thought she would enjoy seeing Kenny Rogers in concert. She really enjoyed the performance parts on the DVD but kept asking me if he had died during the interview parts. I didn't particularly enjoy the segments about his earlier work but understand why it would be included. We did find 2 newer songs to enjoy from watching and it is good to know that he can still sing so well. All in all she enjoys watching this DVD.
This dvd is all about the career of Kenny Rogers.. and it's a very enjoyable dvd to watch. It brings back lots of memories from decades gone by.. and it even brought me up to the present with some of his songs that are new that I had not even heard yet. Many of Kenny's associates along the way are interviewed in this dvd and speak of their amazement with Kenny's ability to adapt his song and career choices to continue to stay in touch with the mindset of the American public.. and his fans. It's interesting to watch him go from brown hair and beard.. to gray.. and then to white. Lots of wonderful songs are presented in this dvd in their entirety... and the story flows gently from one era to the next. If you've been alive at all in the last forty years.. you'll be humming along with many of these tunes. Get it!Read full review

Kenny is just wonderful as usual, but i thougthed it was just a live concert. I think that there is to much behind the scene footage and. To much talking from his friend and not enough signing from him, but at the end he do sing more and it is wonderful. Don't get me wrong, this CD is great
Excellent dvd
