Highly recommended. It was funny and I didn't take it too serious. It was based on the Kevin Costner version of Robin Hood and really made fun of it. Actually I enjoyed both! Mel Brooks always put out good films and sometimes you have to think about them. Not in this case, just sit back and enjoy! The script, actors, extras, make-up, costumes, props, special effects, music, etc. were all good (in the Mel Brooks way). It's really worth viewing - possibly by the entire family. As with all films, parents of school age children should probably watch it first to verify it's OK. 2006 issue of the older film in a DVD format. Please note that my reviews are made based on the product. At the time of writing, the seller is completely unknown.
I like this movie a lot Mel Brooks does it again. the movie itself has big names in it. the way the movie plays out is great. it follows the typical robin hood theme. the movie has more than its share of humorous parts in it. the action parts a funny also. all in all i am pleased with this movie. if you want to laugh and like laughing a lot this is the movie for you.
super movie very funny

Mel Brooks directs and co-stars in this 1993 comedy with Cary Elwes and more. An outlaw steals from the rich to give to the poor in this spoof of Robin Hood films. I've always liked this film and this dvd has good picture and sound plus a couple neat extras. I recommend this good spoof.
This is of Mel Brooks finest! I bought this for my very difficult to shop for hubby for Christmas. May have to watch it that day. Very funny! Not quite Blazing Saddles funny, but darn close!
